As a former Division 1 swimmer, I was swimming twice a day and finding the quickest food I could in between class, practice, sleep and naps. Fast forward, I became a teacher while trying to hold on to an “athletes” schedule. Working out before work, rushing to work, staying late to only rush around after.  I found the quickest, most convenient food options I could get my hands on; many times scarfing it down mindlessly in the car. While these food choices might not have always been visibly affecting my life, looking back, I do know my athletic performance and overall energy was hindered. Many of these foods I was grabbing were lacking in proper nutrients, affecting my sleep, my workouts, and my life! In retrospect,  having someone to help me navigate real, whole food choices would have been such an asset to my athletic performance, my recovery, my energy levels for work, and even the transition from college to the career world, because that is where the real trouble began. I was still swimming, student teaching, working a full school day, swim coaching, AND taking night classes…..MAN HELLO STRESS. Long story short I ended up quite sick and nutrient deficient. Looking back a holistic health path could have saved me from an emergency health situation. 5 years later slow and steady wins the race with proper whole foods fuel along side of stress management.

This is where I magically appear! As a nutritional therapy practitioner (NTP), I can work together with you to help find balance in your body, build a foundation for nutrition, and help support your body for optimal living. We can explore why whole nutrient dense food is important to support your overall daily life, including working, training, and simply just living!

I dive in to find the root cause of pesky problems with a food first approach. S.O.S. Health and Wellness

A sprinkle of support for your health and wellness journey.

Are you ready to feel the best you can? Are you sick of chasing your health and wellness? Then you have come to the right place! I help busy individuals who are feeling stressed, burnt out, and overwhelmed to support their body through a personalized nutrition program so they can sleep better, feel better, and have the energy they need to tackle their goals.

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Good Question! Nutritional therapy uses a root cause, food first, whole foods based approach to support your body maintaining homeostasis (or balance!). When your body is in balance your systems are able to function efficiently and properly. As a nutritional therapy practitioner, I address the NTA’s (Nutritional Therapy Association) six health foundations. These foundations are a properly prepared nutrient dense whole food diet, digestion, blood sugar, fatty acids, hydration, and detoxification. We work to balance these foundations and support your overall health and wellness.
